England; Onslaught existed through the mid to late 80 without ever quite securing a permanent lead singer or making a huge impact on the music world, even though they were a great band! On this one, which proved to be their last release, the band recruited Grim Reaper Steve Grimmett for the vocal department and proceeded to write and record a fairly decent piece of work. With a guitar sound reminiscent of Metallica Master of Puppets era and melodies that remind me a bit of Anthrax, Onslaught rumbled through the songs with a sense of reasonable execution. Should appeal to anyone with an interest in the late 80 thrash scene. Watch out for the excellent Angel witch cover “”Confused”” EP, 1988 – London Recordings

Onslaught – Confused (Angel Witch Cover)
Confused (Angel Witch cover) Lyrics :
I stand looking for a friend,
Someone I can rely on,
All the people laugh at me,
I hide in my room,
They don’t understand me,
Think that I have gone insane,
These four walls are closing on me,
Can’t they realize my pain
Confused, confused, confused
Can’t you see that I’m confused
The wild state of affairs gets worse and worse day by
day,
Everybody seems to be confused,
No one ever knows the way
But Still Life carries on,
And you live a day and you just wait,
You only get one chance, don’t let it just slip away
Confused, confused, confused
Can’t you see that I’m confused
