Pulled from the end-of-the-eighties In Search of Sanity LP, “Let There Be Rock” showcases Onslaught honoring the legendary AC/DC. The hard-wired title track from AC/DCs 1977 album was penned by Malcolm Young, Angus Young and Bon Scott. Onslaught, fronted by heavy metal troll Steve Grimmett, pounded out the cover with a show of respect for the late, great Scott. There isn’t as a group that can match the no-frills, three-chord, riff rollin’ mayhem that the AC/DC machine generates, but Onslaught cut a credible version of the raucous anthem. Onslaughts remake of the power-packed “Let There Be Rock” was issued as a single in the U.K.
