5.0 out of 5 stars
this album is very, very, very, very, very silly. yes it really is that silly and it is a very good thing too! in a nice change away from all the seriousness of metal this an album about how great metal is and how much fun it can be at the same time.
featuring members from unit:187 and strapping young lad unsurprisingly the music awesome and with a production from Devin Townsend the sound is impeccable.
what they do so well is take your favourite metal songs and bands and turn them into very funny homages to them.
the mighty “evil robots” with its cracking line “napster, napster wheres the cash that ive been after”
great riffs that we already know and love twisted into great new forms for us to love again!!!! go get some now i promise you wont be disappointed!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Marvellous stuff,
Look, you just have to buy this. Its funny, its heavy and it rocks like hell.
Picture some of your favourite riffs over the years all wrapped up into one little package. A bit of “Master of Puppets”, “Hell Awaits” and a Nazareth cover (“This Flight Tonite” and a complete chorus theft from “Hair of the Dog”).
The riff on “Drunks Drink” is basic and magnificent, the kind of thing that makes you want to jump around the room, head banging like a loon.
Lyrics are funny without getting tiresome, which is a genuine rarity. Think of it as an amalgamation of everything that’s great about metal (of all varieties) and what got you growing your hair and wearing leather in the first place.
