So this band played a free gig in London not so long ago, and am I ever kicking myself for being too much of a miserable ass to leave my house and sit on a train for a couple of hours to go see them. What a fucking idiot. Over a bitter-sweet forty minutes these five Finns bash out some of the finest rabble-rousing, beer-soaked punk rock you could hope to hear. The kind of jams that light a fire deep behind your ribs and lend to singing, dancing and the quaffing of much ale over the course of some endless night where street-lights revolve giddily above you when you finally stagger from the latest-closing bar in town Hints of Radon, the Clash, Against Me! and Social Distortion abound, pouring out in a series of punchy, melodic anthems that warm the cockles and stir the soul. Each ditty is chock-full of bright, ringing guitars, gruff, bearish vocals and easy-flowing organ riffs that swirl through it all to add proverbial icing to the cake. Pure unadulterated punk rock magic. Just do yourself a favour: pick it up, fling it on the stereo and dance around the kitchen like you’re some kind of loose-limbed imbecile.
