Pure ’80/ ’90s nostalgia, an LP that was released in 1989. Originally hailing from Denver, Colorado, the band decided to make the move to the heart of hair metal — Los Angeles, California — but in doing so, lost their keyboard player. When time came to record the Bad Reputation album, the guys realized they needed to adjust and step up their game. All the songs are more party anthem rockers and heavier but catchy just the same.  “Gang Drinking Brother” is a standout here.I like how the bass player, Haze, is a bit more prominent in the songs and more of a standout player. Much like Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), he doesn’t just sit in the background. The same can be said for drummer “Filthy Rich.”

This is a great release and interesting   to see the band progress to the point of sounding as good as anything by Wildside, or Hardline. Not quite glam — not full on AOR but definitely part of the hair metal daze!!
