hi-tech AOR / A.O.R.  a la Silent Walk and The Adventures. If you are open minded the music of Cry Before Dawn will be a nice experience.
Cry before dawn were an Irish band of the 80s who had a short lived good success nationally and also to a degree in the UK. Prematurely tipped in Ireland as ‘The next u2’. I’d rather listen them than U2. The opening song from this rare 12″ was part of their 2nd album that was recorded and produced in L.A. by Greg Ladanyi (engineer of Toto’s Fahrenheit) and had percussion by P Da Costa, keyboard assistance by Jai Winding etc tec).  They could play and with an emotive style and wrote some rather strong songs which would definitely be labelled hi-tech AOR.

They supported Big Country on the 1988 “Peace In Our Time” Tour.
