This is the first full-length album, after a split with Drift, from the German band Copykill. The band found the perfect balance between metal and hardcore on this CD.Imagine a mix of Hatebreed and Death Threat but with just a bit more of a metal influence. All the songs are aggressive as hell. Don’t expect songs with a lot of melody, but do expect songs with a kind of ‘social critical message’. The CD has a pretty good production too, everything’s balanced out pretty well and the guitars are crunchy as hell, exactly how it should be for a production like this. The layout is a little bit chaotic but done very professionally and it shows they’ve put a lot of work into it.
