“when I grow up there will be a day when everybody has to do what I say…” 🙂 The song is about a kid whose parents and/or grown ups in general never let him speak his mind and just told him to shut up because he’s a kid who doesn’t know anything. And he wishes for the day when he’s a grown up so he can tell people what to do like grown ups did to him.
