Description

Balaam and the Angel is a Hard Rock, then Gothic rock band formed in Cannock, England during 1984.
Initially the band self-released a series of EPs and 7″s (like this one, the 1985 Day and Night that hit the UK charts in #81) via their own Chapter 22 label and played some tour dates opening for The Cult (Listen to the bass playing on this 7″, it is exactly like listening to The Cult!!). This saw Balaam and the Angel catch the attention of Virgin Records who signed them!
