KERRANG #65 (page 10) review: “They have put a certain amount of thought into the arrangement of You’re Killing Me and it’s paid off. Their Rainbow like cut fits neatly together – everything slots into place and thrusts forward as one. Chris Hatton’s vocal is both relaxed and commanding, a lesson to all who feel the need to indulge in histrionics. Le Griffe succeed through restrain”.

LE GRIEFFE: You’re Killing Me

Very RARE N.W.O.B.H.M., Sexist cover. Kev Collier later joined the semi legendary ROGUE MALE! These late-arriving NWOBHM guys churned out a healthy dose of juiced-up guitars and pounding drums.

A Stoke on Trent quintet, formed in 1980 with original guitarist Amos Sanfillipo, LE GRIFFEs debut release (‘Fast bikes’ EP) sold out of the first pressing of 2000 following a short British club tour in early 1983. Another EP (‘You’re Killing Me’) followed later that year. Unfortunately LE GRIFFE split in 1984 after the release of their debut album ‘Breaking Strain’ with Kev Collier then joining ROGUE MALE.
