Description
Classical music meets metal.
As it turns out this is a concept album about a king who sells his soul in order to get a son. This isn`t extreme metal at all. Instead we get sort of a mix between opera and musical. The main instrument seems to be a piano, we also get some guitar riff`s quite heavy, and some good solos in between. A violin is also used a lot, the drums are high in the mix and this works well.
The title track is a fully symphonic track without modern instruments. The vocal`s is a mix between operatic female and clean male. Both quite good.
Conclusion: if your want something different and like easy listening classical music, you should give it a listen!
