Britain is still home to some great rock and metal acts. Just nobody seems interested in them. As a result, fantastic bands such as Earthtone 9 are almost unheard of, and have thus had to split up.
Quantum Bigfoot are from Britain. Essex, in fact, which at the moment seems to be home to a number of young, up and coming bands. This is their debut album, and it is already obvious just what talent they’ve got. But coming from Britain, just how likely are they to succeed?
Mixing chugging guitars and quite a deep, gloomy sound to the music, with quite a strong element of bands such as Alice in Chains, the band have quite a grungey sound to them. That said, they are definitely a step ahead of popular American post-grunge bands, for example Nickelback or Staind.
Try and find this album for yourself, it is well worth it, and give the band some much needed support. Definitely one to look out for in the future.
