Thrash/Death Metal This 28-minute burst of pure fucking aggression is the best all-out assault on your senses and combines the brutality of Slayer, Deicide and Cryptopsy. Hypokras really are content to churn out staccato technical riffs from the early nineties and are intent on turning down the technicality and turning up the intensity. The result is songs of face-ripping, thrashing brutality that melds elements of retro death/thrash, death-core and grind-lite, all wrapped up festering in a zombie/horror visage akin to Gorelord or Necrophagia. Add to that a very Swedish production (think Derangedmeets Nasum) that is clean, yet exudes immense power. The drums are huge, and have a ballistic feel that felt like a jackhammer in my head. On to the music Dead& Hungry is good; Very good. What is great about Dead & Hungry is that resemble the finer points of Autopsy, Deranged, Soilwork, Slayer but still sounds fresh and strangely original in its sheer barbaric brutality.

Imagine The Crown mixed with Bolt Thrower and Defleshed and you get the likes of  The Cursed Birth,  Heretik Whores  and  Deceased in Alcoholik Orgasm
