1993 compilation album showcase for artists signed to Peaceville sub-label Dreamtime. True to the name, much of the music on here has a dreamy, psychedelic and even tribal feel, though there are a variety of genres on display. Between the eight artists you’ll find spacy prog rock, electro-industrial, tripped-out ambient, techno and more. It’s a shame the Dreamtime label was not around for particularly long, because if the selection of bands here is anything to go by the folks there had a definite ear for this stuff. While GGFH is my favourite (their closing track “Spirits” being exclusive to this release), everything is worth a listen.
