Description
Even if the music is quite different, they have the same approach as the Virgin Prunes with their sick ballads and twisted marches. “Screaming Inside Her”, “Bless This Broken Body” and “She Was Laughing” are actually pretty lengthy with the longest being 7 minutes and 55 seconds. The music contains a eerie child-like quality, a sense of frailty which only thinly covers the volatile undertones. Bonni’s striking vocals are accompanied by looming guitars, a haunting synthesizer and beautiful percussion. A twisted version of something that was once innocent. Spooky and unsettling at times, but strangely addicting. This is something that would definitely add an intense element to a horror flick. The epitome of avant-garde rock, Bless This Broken Body is a spine-tingling adventure that is sure to leave you in awe (note: Different versions of Screaming Inside Her and She Was Laughing from Lullabies CD.)

Seatle band, FOD know more than how to just create avante garde & unnerving songs but they have really memorized an ingredient of glamorous appetite for sugary sweet dementia that spews from a cauldron w/ wand in hand spinning inner demons in & out as they grow, sprout & bloom in their bizarre dreamland. W/ the raw nihilism of the post punk era mixed along a dense & hazy pop infection, they truly stand out in a scene filled w/ so called “Sister” clones. Pretty, twisted, & very dark! Worthy of your up-most attention
