The male vocals of this Italian Gothic metal band compliment in a romantic way the sensual voice of Eva Rondinelli. They are inspired by bands like Opeth, Anathema, My Dying Bride, but these influences are not audible in the eleven songs on this CD. You can even compare Dakrua maybe with Lacuna Coil. However the Dakrua compositions are more adventurous. Also, Eva’s voice is warmer and more erotic than the voice of Cristina Adriana Chiara Scabbia of Lacuna Coil. Producer Giusepper Orlando (Novembre/Century Media) gave the CD a warm and full sound and made sure that the strong points of the bands like the voice of Eva are sounding sparkling.
Gothic Metal fans will adore this album.
