It has become an iconic song of its type and was immensely popular among United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam War.

“Apache” is an instrumental written by Jerry Lordan. It has been recorded by many people, but the first released version was recorded by British group The Shadows in June 1960 and released the following month. The song topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks.
Q magazine placed “Apache” at No.96 in its list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Tracks.

“Return to Sender” is a 1962 rock and roll hit single recorded by American singer Elvis Presley. Recorded on March 27, 1962, at Radio Recorders in Hollywood, it is about a man mailing a letter to his girlfriend after an argument. She continually writes “return to sender” and while he keeps receiving the letter with various reasons for returning to sender, including “address unknown” and “no such person”. He keeps mailing letters, refusing to believe the relationship is over. Elvis performed “Return to Sender” in the film Girls! Girls! Girls!.
