Cradled amongst the disc’s stylized six-string assault are crystalline pop gems and platinum hooks that become familiar friends after the very first listen. Intriguing and colorful lyrics of hidden depth cover everything from the most involved conspiracy theories to adventurous sexual possibilities. Like warp-speed channel surfing through time and space, Queer For Girls bombard the listener with provocative soundbites, while sugar-coating their message to the masses with layers of fizzing flash-bang rock.

Take a blender; get into your favorite cartoons, including the theme songs, all the rock records of the 80s, from Alice Cooper to Twisted Sister, through Poison and Kiss, a good dose of youthful punk attitude and we get the Johnny Jetson band ( the name is not chosen at random).
The debut album of this quartet is pure adrenaline with the taste of beer and playstation (see the cover), riff of a timeless rock n ‘roll, filtered by new digital technologies: the voice is never clean, the guitars often pass through a series of flangers, phasers, digital delays and pedal synths.
These guys, whose members boast important collaborations on various tours, have genetically modified the rock, infusing it with stellar Wipe-out style races, cold war imagery, science fiction and cyberpunk environments.

Strictly four times, full guitars, old-style solos, bass dug in the middle frequencies, to make it dry and direct, the need to pronounce one’s faith (the “Rock”) at least once per song. A perfect record to listen to while going to the beach, with the car full of beer and three good friends to say bullshit.
The only flaw of the work: a sometimes chaotic mix in which the voice, guitars and snare bump and injure each other. But it’s rock’n’roll and everything is allowed.
