Description
Eric is best known as the vocalist of the (reunited) hard rock band Mr. Big, the multi-talented super-group that produced the 90s hit ballad “”To Be With You””, a song that Eric wrote in his teen years.
Eric solo albums exemplify Eric unique soulful voice and candid lyrics. I’m Only Fooling Myself is a compilation of songs written by such people as Myles Hunter, John Waite, and a whole host of other established songwriters. It also included top West Coast session musicians such as drummers Mike Baird of Journey, Mickey Curry of the Brian Adams Band, guitarist Richie Zito, Tim Pierce, Michael Landau and Rick Nowells.

Superb third solo album from Mr. Eric Martin! The record varying between pure AOR and pop/rock songs. It starts with the super AOR track “”These Are The Good Times”” from the movie Iron Eagle, this must be one of my all time favourite songs.. GREAT! He also does an excellent version of the ballad “”Everytime I Think Of You”” (also done by FM).””I Can’t Relax”” is a very good pop/rock song. I must also mention another of the highlights, the strong uptempo AOR track “”Crazy World Like This” .Eric Martin sings with a great feeling as usual. I really can recommend this one.. I’ll give it a 8,5 of 10.

I`ve heard ‘These Are The Good Times’ done by another singer, and ‘Crazy World Like This’ by Robin Beck, so Eric really rocks!!! Nice vocal, all time must-have in any collection…

Great work.. really recommended for all AOR fans!!!..Eric is one of the most charismatic singers and front-men ever!!!…this album brings great songs such as “”These Are The Good Times””(brilliant!),””If You Believe Me””(awesome!),””Everytime I Think Of You””(excellent mid tempo, a song that has been covered by the likes of FM),””Confess”” & “”Crazy World Like This””. Recommendable…89/100
