Fans of Steve Marriott (Small Faces, Humble Pie) will love the cover of All Or Nothing. [In an interview in 1984, Marriott was asked what his best Small Faces songs were: “I think ‘All or Nothing‘, that I wrote, takes a lot of beating. To me, if there’s a song that typifies that era, then that might be it].

“All or Nothing” is a song written by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane of the British rock band Small Faces and released as a single in 1966. The song reached number one on the UK Singles Chart on 15 September 1966. The song was also a major hit in both the Netherlands, where it reached number two and Ireland, where it reached number three. It was also the first song by the Small Faces to chart in the Republic of Ireland

Riff were in fact and Anglo-German band whose vocalist was from the UK.
This is catchy enough melodic rock, but the band would break up not long after the albums release, with Lennox and Beckings carrying on under the name of Crash N’ Burn.

Comparisons with INXS are not too far from the truth, but i wouldn’t say this is straight INXS; this is more like Silent Running or Slide and adding some touches of Gun (kinda “Inside Out” songs by Gun i mean). Definitely better than a lot of those so-called “super rarities”, which some people pay horrendous amounts of money for.
