Worthwhile as it features a couple of previously unreleased Babys tracks.
pretty good selection of songs through JOHN WAITEs career until that time.

About Last Night soundtrack – Anybody Had A Heart by John Waite:
1. Just scenes from the movie with good sound

2. the actual clip played on MTV with slightly inferior audio sound

Worth having it cause it contains 2 previous unreleased BABYS songs and the amazing “if anybody had a heart” from a soundtrack. Always loved his voice and his attitude and I think that its a good way to start through his long discography.

Missing You:

Interesting Collection!
This collection is really quite interesting. With a couple of never before issued tracks, b-sides, soundtrack hits, unknown gems, this collection is a good place to go for those who only have his hits from prior compilations.
Johns voice is really quite unique and very human. He has the uncanny ability to make it sound like he is singing to “you”.
You will not be disappointed. 🙂

“World in a Bottle” didn’t appear on any previous album and appears to be a reject, I cannot explain why! An orchestral interlude shows that the tune is as exceptional as the words.

Waites songs are very personal and distinguish themselves from the “clever” lyrics that have dominated chart music for the last 30 years.

Although I bought this CD for one track: Missing You, I love the whole album. John Waite has a great smooth voice full of emotion which give me more than one reason to listen to this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars The 9 Lives Of John Waite
I enjoy this CD very much. Covering the years that John was with THE BABY’S & BAD ENGLISH, and his solo projects. True, one CD cannot include everything from his career. But you do get a generous 20 song compilation. A highly individualistic vocal style, with the songwriting abilities as well. Highly recommended! And for the current used price, it’s a no brainer.
