The Medieval Death LP comes with a free 2 hour DVD of previously unreleased material. The LP comes with a 4 page booklet that details the band’s past, plus a separate lyric / photos sheet. You will read interesting (and often fun) stories, including the unfortunate Euronymous story.

Medieval Death was a Thrash Metal band from Thessaloniki, in Hellas (Greece). They were only around for 3 years, and sadly only managed to release a demo with 4 songs that received glowing reviews. They only played a few gigs in Hellas (they never managed to play “abroad”) but whilst they were still operational, they managed to receive two offers to release an official album. One of those offers came from Euronymous / Øystein Aarseth, who was a central figure in the early Norwegian black metal scene, co-founder and guitarist of the pioneering black metal band Mayhem, owner of the extreme metal record label Deathlike Silence Productions and the infamous record shop Helvete.
All 5 band members agreed to having their work from 1989 – 1991 released officially. We feel that it IS important to make clear that every single band member was on board and that all 5 contributed in one way or another. Some additional video material was recorded in 2022 to help widen the appeal of the Yperano records release. A 12″ that comes along with a DVD compilation, was finally released in 2023.
