Description
WHITEFIRE Suzanne
WHITEFIRE MUSIC 7-inch Limited Edition 98DB 001!
Original UK 7-inch single, released in 1978 on the WHITEFIRE MUSIC record label.
Plays at 33 1/3 RPM. The vinyl is probably in very good condition (you can check the pictures of this listing and be the judge of this; visual inspection only).
Catalogue number 98DB 001.
Recorded at CARGO STUDIOS Rochdale, Lancashire, Engineer JOHN BRIERLEY.
B-side: Suzanne, Teresa Green.
B-side: Parades of Glory.
Early NWoBHM act from or around Rochdale, as that is where they recorded at the Cargo recording studio in 1978.
Not to be confused with the synth pop outfit of the same name, whose song “”Tell Michell”” appears on the “”Disco 81″” compilation. A la Dawnwatcher, Diamond Head, No Quarter.
Best song is the B side. The ambitious “”Parades of Glory””. An epic composition that really explodes in the middle section. With a hearfelt vocal performance and excellent guitar work, the band had clearly been studying Led Zeppelin and found a niche between Dawnwatcher, Diamond Head, and No Quarter.
