Description

White Heart, also listed as Whiteheart, was a Contemporary Christian Music pop-rock band which formed in 1982. White Hearts discography includes thirteen albums.
this is the second release with lead vocalist Ric Florian. But this album shows the progression that the group is taking that will put them over the top, both creatively and commercially. The group does excel here with their sound and delivers on all cylinders. Mark Gersmehl handles lead vocal duties as well and on this album as well as subsequent albums the songs with Gersmehl are some of the best White Heart tunes.

always loved this song. Two elements stand out above all else: the excellent guitar riff and soloing, and probably best of all, Rick Floians vocals with attitude.

Killer AOR song. Usually slow songs put me to sleep and I? always advance to the next song….but this one has always been one of my favorites!

This may be the first thumper record that I didn’t feel embarassed about sharing with my friends. It forms a definite progression from _Don’t Wait for the Movie_ (still a fine record) which is definitely a contemporary Christian pop album to _Freedom_ which is a full on real live big boy rock album. This album has those sappy moments (“Fashion Fades” and “Speed of Sound” come to mind) but there are glimpses of a musical authenticity that they’d fully realize in _Freedom_. The rhythm section especially is in a completely different league of complexity on this record compared to _Movie_. “More Sold Out” especially was sick before sick meant something good, and “Speed of Sound” may be as fun as anything they ever recorded other than “Convertibles.” Great album.
This cd is one of my favorites! It brings back lots of memories. I really love it!

This is my favorite CD of theirs.

I can’t say enough how good this is. I had to replace my cassette tape to this. I played it so much.
