Gypsy is Drongo-Rock of the highest order. Monotonous stoner riffery, operatic vocals and a tale of flagellation and forbidden gypsy love. Brilliant!

Gypsy
From: …Very ‘Eavy …Very ‘Umble (1970)
Proof that first impressions really go a long way, this opening track from Heeps 1970 debut, remains many a diehard fans all-time favorite. While lacking in some of the subtlety, and certainly the refinements, of latter-day Uriah Heep, Gypsy instead packs a wallop so fearsome and cruel, theres no doubting its vital importance among the building blocks of heavy metal.
