Pure Black Metal Adrenaline!!!
This is the first album I listened to and it will be one I frequently play. With the first tracking surging forth with no hesitation Trollheims Grott play a highly infectious fast black metal with electronic elements that surprisingly don’t often detract from its brutality. I believe the trick is each track almost seems to transition to the next, with the exception of Little Shop of Scapels, the album feels like a massive journey that will end with the ultimate demise of mankind. The guitar work is incredibly addicting when it is combined with the electronics and the vocal chorus’ get you growling along after a couple spins! I am easy to please when it comes to metal and I highly recommend this album for anyone who needs to keep up their adrenaline during physical activity.
Trollheim’s Grott is another band that I have been introduced to and immediately pissed off that I hadn’t heard of them before! This is the first album I listened to and it will be one I frequently play. With the first tracking surging forth with no hesitation Trollheim’s Grott play a highly infectious fast black metal with electronic elements that surprisingly don’t often detract from its brutality. I believe the trick is each track almost seems to transition to the next, with the exception of Little Shop of Scapels, the album feels like a massive journey that will end with the ultimate demise of mankind. Unfortunately man lives on for now and the album ends with a short electronic, almost dance piece that still fits in. I give this an 88 because the guitar work is incredibly addicting when it is combined with the electronics and the vocal chorus’ get you growling along after a couple spins! I am not easy to please when it comes to metal and I highly recommend this album for anyone who needs to keep up their adrenaline during physical activity.
