Very good German Hard Rock / Metal album. These guys are trying to bring back the spirit of the metal of the 80s, and they are doing a good job we might add. Their music is influenced by bands such as Iron Maiden. Excellent arrangements and a very good job on the guitars

Two words…Heavy & Metal 80´s kind of metal, German straight ahead metal like “U.D.O.,RUNNING WILD & BULLET”
Opener and title track “Totally dying” is a great rocker that fans of U.D.O. will really enjoy! The chorus is really catchy and it reminds me of some of the songs on U.D.O.´s most melodic and best album “Faceless world” We can hear some influences from RUNNING WILD on the song “Evil” the typical twin guitar sound and with verses that sounds like their song “Raw ride” The chorus is again catchy and melodic.”You are the one” is a good acoustic guitar ballad while “Arabia” is a nice uptempo rocker a-la Running Wild. Then we can hear a more AOR/Melodic song with a lot of keys “I need you” is a really good mid tempo song with a sound not far from ROKO & RETURN. BUY their CD !
Iron Metal from Büdingen – this is how the five musicians of the formation with their somewhat idiosyncratic name advertise your favor. Totally Dying is after the debut Strong like Fire the second work and was also, as the predecessor produced on its own. I thought my Power / True Metal days were history, but what The Wild Mild present to me is sure to make every metal heart beat faster! Totally Dying is one of the few, if not the only, album that has come out of the real Heavy Metal genre lately and has absolutely convinced me. You notice the men around Bernd Bond, as they say themselves, that there is an enormous portion of heart and soul in the music. Comparable is Totally Dying with Oceans of Time, the last record of Axel Rudi Pell, who is meanwhile somewhat elderly but not quieter. In my opinion, Totally Dying could even be the continuation of Oceans of Time, the Büdinger are doing so professionally here. The sound is so punchy and compact that you can not always find it on regular releases of established bands, and as far as the design of the booklet is concerned, there’s nothing reminiscent of the fact that everything was created on its own, without the help of a record label. Between rousing songs, such as the opener “Totally Dying” or “Evil”, there are also some ballads that give the album the necessary depth. Lyrically, you do not leave out a cliché and join titles like “You are the one”, “Love is a lie” and “I need you” enter the romantic and melancholic corner. But I think that’s fine altogether. Be sure to listen to the mp3 samples and convince yourself of The Wild Mild. With this potential, the record companies are only likely to stand in line and thus in the near future, five more Porsche roars through Büdingen, from which one can hear the sounds of Totally Dying.
