+ 3 live Tracks (they don’t appear elsewhere):
Rock’n’ Rollin Again (3:37)
Too Hot to Stop (4:10)
Power Lover (4:40)
A twelve-inch with the amazing band The Rods. A-sides “Too Hot to Stop” is from “Wild Dogs” album and the other three songs are recorded live at The Marquee. Note that the “Too Hot to Stop” is there too.
No price given to those who think of something else when they see the cover art. So, when you wonder to yourself “what’s red, very warm, rounded top and squirts lots of white drops?” The answer is clearly: a heated thermometer.

“ We decided to make the lyrics speak, and that’s what heavy metal was in that period. The Rods were born in 1982, because it is precisely in the year that the album ‘Wild Dogs’ (their third album actually) was released. The band managed to gain true visibility with that album. At the time we didn’t even have the money to have breakfast, but we understood what our mission was: to fill the clubs where we played! In this we were good and a little ’ at a time the fruits began to bloom. I always believed that if we hadn’t really started from the bottom we would never have been able to emerge in the right way. At the time in New York people listened to disco music and Bee Gees, while our music was just a punch in the stomach!”
