As with the bands HORRORSCOPE and KILLJOY, THE NO-MADS are from Poland, to be more precise from Katowice. They were formed in 1999. After four demo releases, they released their self-financed debut album, then a single (or promo) CD, then they managed to sign a contract with the German label Shark Records. Under this label, they released their second full-length effort entitled Deranged.  THE NO-MADS is a band that even though bases its sound on classic Thrash Metal we originally got to know by bands like HEATHEN, RAZOR and NUCLEAR ASSAULT, it also combines Thrash with some more modern stuff like ARCH ENEMY. The end result sounds interesting, exciting and unpredictable (not what you would expect to listen).

The 2nd album released in 2006 by Pure Thrasher, a five-piece /twin guitar group formed in 1999 and featuring a Polish female vocalist, whose 2013 album was also released in Japan. This product, which is out of print, is now available in limited quantities! A killer pure slash piece reminiscent of the best moments of old HOLY MOSES! You may occasionally hear Sabina Classen from Holy Moses, the singer bellows loudly; a cross between Angelripper and a scratchy Death shouter.                  Interestingly two hymns are performed in German – one of them to drinking. The “thrash alcoholization” has the spirit of punk Sodom and leaves no doubt about the quintet’s drinking ability. A rocking solo is impressive enough and the fretless bass proves that they can think outside the box. Those arpeggios in “Violence Riddled”, will remind you of the Californians Sadus.
