Forgotten band from the late 80s, similar to The Cult or Mission, with two small good hits, the title track and “Jesus and the devil”.
THE NAME formed in 1982 [London, England, United Kingdom] and produced two albums, Dangerous Times and Promise, on China Records, the owner Derrek Green was head of A&M at Atlantic and signed the Police.

I became aware of the end of April 88, when I heard “Jesus And The Devil” on the radio. With only that one song, they grabbed me. This 7″ is a really good one. The songs are great. The then oh so typical comparisons with the Simple Minds and U2 are certainly not completely out of thin air, but in 1988/89 they did not hit on a lot of bands? Highlight of the 7″ is “Jesus And The Devil”!
