If these guys were major label, and getting real promotion this album would be everywhere. As it is four unknown Canadians conspire to create a stunningly beautiful Emo-tinged rock album. Melodic and powerful, it is alo a delicate work, that harks of the likes of Elbow (for example on Call an Ambulance) and Coldplay, along with bands like Pop Unknown and even at times Applessed Cast (as on Lighthouse Signals). This is not hell for leather music; it is thoughful and moody, each track creating a very definate atmosphere, to fill space with emotion.
It’s a crime this will be lucky to sell more than a few thousand copies. Buy it.”
