this EP is killer. Lost classic. ‘Welfare Boogie’, the debut EP, was released in 1989 and was the catalyst to them getting signed to Def Jam.
Fucking brilliant, I miss the shit out of this band. They still live on through their outstanding music. A la Black Crowes & Stones.
1. Welfare Boogie
2. Shelly
3. High school Rock’n’Roller
4. Hard Lovin’ Man
Rocks Like HELLLL
The first Four Horsemen EP had been hard to get for years. Fans of bad ass tattooed Rick n roll by bands like The Cult, Circus of Power, GnR, Junkyard, ‘et al probably know it well. Over the years I’ve only played my vinyl sparingly in desperate fear that I may wear it out and never hear the Welfare Boogie again. Soooo glad I bought this on CD.
