The Creek is an AOR / hard rock band from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, that was formed in 1971 under the name of Sugarcreek. In 1986, the band changed its name to The Creek. The band split up in 1990 but still plays occasional shows as Sugarcreek.

This is a good album! Jerry was the bomb. Voice like Bono licks like Van Halen. The Creek opened for Honeymoon Suite. If you don’t have this album. You need it.

Must buy just for the first 2 (Killer songs that you will listen to 100 times!!!!). I consider this LP a must. In “Storm the gate” and “Rock me tonight” they show their abilities. Just for these 2 killers I think it’s a must for all melodic fans, IMO.

This second album by The Creek is more rock oriented than their previews one!!!…”Storm The Gate”, “Foxy”, “Hanky Panky”,”Passion”, “Fountain Of Youth”(great bass playing),”Bad Light”, “On My Way”. Top notch songs indeed …recommended 4 sure…98/100

What an amazing band this was. All their releases are top-notch: from the AOR masterpieces under the name Sugarcreek to the more hard rock-oriented Creek albums, this band could do no wrong. Great vocals, fantastic songs…you get my drift. Recommended!

THE CREEK was such a talented band, but they didn’t make the impact they could! Tim Clark s vocals are so passionate and Jerry West s guitars are so fine, the hooks are there and this is a great hard rock release with songs like “bad light”, “on my way”, “storm the gate”, “girl is crying”! THE CREEK should have been bigger!!!!
