5.0 out of 5 starsThe Babys- self-titled first album (Looking For Love) with John Waite
Great first album by The Babys from 1976. Classic AOR with a big sound and a great vibe. Still holds up today.

The band members were: John Waite (Vocals, Bass), Wally Stocker (Guitar), Michael Corby (Keyboards, Guitar), Tony Brock (Vocals, Drums, Piano)

Excellent music as always!!
More than half of the tracks on this  never even charted, but that is what makes this so excellent. The music that charted is easy to find, this particular  has some harder to find and very excellent music on it. Very highly recommend to fans of John Waite and The Babys.

Subject: The Babys – a correction.

You have me listed as ‘Rhythm Guitar’ on your Babys product which is our 1st Chrysalis album. On this album, I played the Lead Guitar on:
Looking For Love
If You’ve Got The Time
Read My Stars.

An understandable error, as I played no solos on our 2nd Chrysalis album and therefore declared myself to be rhythm guitarist on that album.
However, before that, as on your product, The Babys was a 2 x lead guitarist band.

Hopefully, I have been able to straighten this one out.

Respectfully yours ever ,
Michael Corby
The Babys.
