STEELWIND’S “”Heaven’s Calling”” is full of thick vocal harmonies and tight orchestrated musical arrangements. If you like bands like Styx, Toto, Kansas,Boston, Journey, Van Halen, you will like these Christian hard-rockers provided that you won’t have a problem with the very strong evangelistic edge that they have. The technical level is quite high and we got treated to a whole series of unexpected tricks. Michael Clary, the lead guitarist and Kevin Humphrey deserve equal praises for his incredibly clear timbre and very relaxed way to sing. They are also blessed (pan intended) with an efficient rhythm section. The ten tracks on this album are classics. Relieved to hear that music rooted in the seventies and eighties still stands tall this day and age.

(Hard to find, self-financed album…usually sells between for new $32.99 and for used copies $25.00)

Really ; No words can explain it , except, “Heaven’s Calling””,
All the way from Texas to Oregon, Awesome! It was a gift sent in more ways than one. Thanks Steelwind!

Blew Me Away!,
What more can I say? The CD is fantastic. I highly recommend it for any of you reading this review who have the musical likes of Boston, Journey, Blackfoot, etc…These guys deliver the gospel through cutting edge lyrics with some of the finest guitar licks I’ve ever heard. May God Bless your endeavors in this ministry.

Totally Awesome!
The first time I heard the Steelwind’s “”Heaven’s Calling”” CD I was absolutely BLOWN away! I really have to admit that I haven’t heard this quality of music in a long time! Perhaps even never! The amazing thing about this bands arrangements, are that no matter how many times I hear them,…they just never seem to get old. Unlike some CD’s I’ve bought where there are maybe two or three good songs on it, Steelwind has the whole CD filled with excellent tunes! Thanks Steelwind! You sure got my attention! And still have it!

Divinely Rockin’,
This CD is by far the best I’ve heard for a long time. It’s fresh and new, and you can actually understand the words and the message it is trying to portray. It is music that you can tell was written from the heart. The first time I heard it, I got serious chills all over! This is a “”Must have”” for people who are looking for music that touches your heart and soul!

Blew me away !
When I first heard the title cut “”Heaven’s Calling”” start playing in my car, I was blown away. I have not heard anything like this in a long time. Reminds me of the 80’s rock with enough modern sound to make it very interesting to my listening. This one could really take off. But then again it’s just my opinion. Nevertheless I still advise you to listen to it….
