unbelievably, yet one more review of the same album:

Sleeze Beez are a glam metal band formed in 1987 in The Netherlands.
They released four studio albums and one live album over a nine-year career before disbanding in 1996. Their 1990 album Screwed Blued & Tattooed peaked at number 115 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The song “”Stranger Than Paradise”” was a big hit on MTV and was taken from the “”Screwed Blued & Tattooed”” album.

5.0 out of 5 stars 80 Mainstream,
I love the 80 heavy metal scene. I had never heard of this band but took a flyer on this album in the bargain bin of my local record shop. Boy, I should have bought this when it came out. The title track has the heavy stomp you love and expect from the 80 groups. The whole album is strong and tight. Definitely a must have for you Hair-Freaks…like me.

5.0 out of 5 stars 80 hair metal/glam rock still rules
This is one of the best glam rock/hair metal bands from the 80, and this LP proves it. A must have if you dig 80 hair bands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Band Great LP.
The sleeze beez are one of my favorite bands of all time. I am very surprised that this band didn’t go huge. If you are a fan of 80 hard rock I know that you will like this album. The best song on this album is ‘ ranger than paradise” but every song is a tune killer.

5.0 out of 5 stars UNFORTUNATELY FORGOTTEN
Hard rock 80 metal at the best. Too bad that this band was just a blink at the end of the 80, maybe they were at the wrong place at the wrong time.

They played damn good and this LP is as fun as any Motley, Poison or Ratt LP is.

I don’t know too much about this band. As long as I know they are from East Europe and they changed the vocalist before this album went out. I know that this is the most “”easy listening”” LP that they released , too.

The songs are straight and they don’t try to be perfect, they are just fun. Rock in the western world has a great sound to start any concert, Screwed blue’ n’ tattooed is great, Stranger than paradise is the best song in the LP (they even made a video), very much like a Bon Leppard song, Heroes die young is very similar to any Great White song and the (let not forget the ballad) slow song for the LP is This time is as good as any Winger or Poison ballad.

If you like to hear something new that is a little bit old, stop looking, this is it.

Highlights: Stranger than paradise, Rock in the western world, Heroes Die Young.

5.0 out of 5 stars So happy to have this!
I was driving home listening to Hair Nation on Sirius Radio and Stranger Than Paradise came on. I had forgotten what a great song that is! Bought the LP & have been rocking since!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Band
This was the music the record companies decided to abandon in the late 80s early 90s to replace these bands who could play with those which were first called alternative rock eliminating the rhythm and lead guitars that Sleeze Beez and bands of their era mastered. Good stuff!!! Wanna Rock??? Get some!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome,
Really enjoy the music of this band, look forward to purchasing more LP. If they come in my area for a concert I’ll be there.

5.0 out of 5 stars still one of my all time favorites,
As stated in the previous reviews, this is a great LP with lot of guitar and vocals. I believe the singer was once a contender to front the mighty Van Halen camp so that alone should give you an idea of the calibre this band punches. They have recently covered a cool version of the Journey song “”Faithfuly”” In regards to the Screwed Blue LP, my favorites are pretty much the whole disc, but Heroes die Young, stranger than paradise, this time, Rock in the western World, and of course, Screwed Blue are highlights.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome AOR Rock
Another band that came in a little too late. This album rocks and is nothing short of fun. A lot of catchy hook laden rockers here. “”Stranger than Paradise”” is a great some. The title track rocks, and so does the rest of the LP. I bought this album when it came out and never regretted it. If they would have came out in 87 they would have been huge. A must have for any hair metal fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don’t Let The Name Put You Off.,
A Dutch band that must have impressed even the Yanks with their own objective take on American rock.

Excellent vocals from Andrew Elt and screamy guitars from Jaarsveld & Van Spall respectively – although not too much – chuck in the odd horn and piano blast and you have a very melodic take on the late Glam/Sleaze scene (1990) and therefore a more deliberate and polished attempt.

Tracks 1 & especially 2. House On Fire kick off a great start, the title track is a suitable monicker for the album, a nice track for “”the Ladies”” stands up at no.4 as does track no.7, Damned… & Heroes, When…, Don’t…(fantastic riffage), Girls… are nice little rockers in a take on the likes of the Vinnie Vincent Invasion ‘All Systems Go’ – another unrelated excellent album. All in all not a dud track.

Bright cheery and optimistic you could do worse than start your day off with a quick blast of crewed…’. ”
