Black Rock with a capital B, this is a self explanatory opus that should be sent to Metropolitan Police chief immediately. A damn fine single that hints of Living Colour before heading off into Bad Brains territory with “who killed Justice”. Killer songs….
The Scraps were one of the best British rock bands to be eluded by commercial success. After several years of relentless gigging, attracting a solid fanbase and much positive TV and press exposure, an eponymous album was slated for release but cancelled. This left as their only released legacy a CD EP, Dreadlock Criminal, and Live Bootleg, a cassette-only fanclub release, both consistently brilliant. Heavy and powerful, both on stage and on record, they held immense promise, sadly ultimately unfulfilled.
The Hardest Hardcore Group from London in the 90s The band they would not let through the net, too political, too black, too intelligent.
