What a fantastic autobiography of the Metal Guru himself Buff Byford.
As a keen lifelong fan of the Mighty Saxon I thought this book was a gripping and most interesting read.
I look forward to the next chapter as Saxon and Biff Byford are resurrected and grow from strength to strength!

I’ve just finished reading this book – I enjoyed it. `Never Surrender…’, the story of the rise, fall and re-emergence of one of British metals most august institutions, is undoubtedly long overdue. Told in a matey, chatty manner which makes it very easy to read. One thing I did notice is that almost everyone that Biffs ever met is a “nice guy” unless hes had an argument with them.

this is a great autobiography by Biff Byford from Saxon, this deals a lot with his childhood, his life both before and during Saxon so just so you know in advance this book is not a book about Saxon its about Mr. Byford. I actually really enjoyed it and found it to be an interesting read. The story is based entirely on Byfords recollection of events. Hes an engaging raconteur and many of his revelations are surprisingly fruity and near the knuckle.
