“”Serenade”” would have been a highlight song to any pre Black Album by Metallica. “”I came 4 U”” is a solid, simple riff monster, reminiscent of his down-tuned guitars and rhythm section by Black Sabbath. The cover version is excellent.

“Send Me an Angel”” is a 1983 song by Real Life. Initially released on Real Life debut album Heartland, it is the band most well-known song. This version originally peaked in early 1984 in the US at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song biggest chart success, however, was in 1989, where an updated version entitled “”Send Me an Angel ’89″” surpassed the original version from 1983. “”Send Me An Angel ’89″” reached a peak of No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the summer of 1989 in the US. Both versions are very similar; the 1989 version is missing the louder “”claps”” in the chorus and the drums sound much less electronic, more like an acoustic kit, as opposed to the typical 1980s electronic drums sound heard on the original. The song is prominently featured in the 1989 film The Wizard and the 1986 film Rad.

The song is about a man who asks himself whether he will find true love.
The video clip was filmed in burnt forests in Victoria soon after the Ash Wednesday bushfires on 16 February 1983.
