Description
We need to give Roxx Gang credit for sticking to their guns when most of their Sunset Strip peers either changed their sound in a vain attempt to go grunge or disappeared entirely. Its cool to see an straight-up hair metal/ sleaze rock album released in 1996, that is as memorable as Things You’ve Never Done Before. There are some really fun, hard rockin’ tunes though, like Time Bomb, Be Your Man, and Shame on Me. A super solid hair metal release that should please those of you who still spin those L.A. Guns and Jetboy albums on a regular basis.
5.0 out of 5 stars just as good as the début..,
this cd was written with the original band from 1st cd , and it`s a great underrated cd in my eyes , bought it in 95 and still jam to it , catchy hooks, riffs galore and a bit more blues to it not so one dimensional.. but to the point of fun tongue and cheek lyrics and awesome solos great follow up to a band that didn’t get the recognition it deserved, just give a listen to “stone dead drunk again” , and you be into the whole disc , it is fun party rock at its best…

5.0 out of 5 stars It’s a must have for your 80’s glam metal collection.
Better than there debut album and I loved it. Voodoo you love rocks all the way through start to finish I highly recommend this album to anyone who loves the glam metal of the late 80’s and early 90’s. It’s a must have for your collection.
.
Good Rythms,Cool songs,Fun vibe. The lyrics are interesting: I bet Kevin steele is a western movies afficionados because most of the songs use this imagery, transposed in a modern urban world.I like it. HEY!I’m listening to it while I’m writing this! :”HOT FOR LOVE” must be the SLEAZIEST song that was even sung.I bet Tipper Gore sure looooves it.
This CD Rocks! I can’t talk enough of it. Can’t believe I never heard of them sooner.
I really dig this CD. They come across a lot harder than you would think. These guys always struck me as having a little more diversity than the average band of this genre.
Stone Dead Drunk is an awesome song, a great song to have a couple drinks too and play some billiards with your buddies.
songs like “Daddys farm”, “Time bomb”, “Hot Lanta” are perfect for a night out with your buddies…
“Stone Dead Drunk Again” is friggin awesome one of the most kick ass songs I have listened to in a long time!!!
Had to listen to Stone Dead Drunk Again, once again. Kevin was as sharp as he was on the debut, and sounded great on this song. I really enjoy Mr. Blades playing on this and Hot For Love.
its totally awesome kickass rock n’ roll the way it should be. At least it was a breath of fresh air in 1995 with all of the alternative shit that was on the radio back then.
great album “stone dead drunk” rulezz!
