A band formed from the ashes of Rat Bat Blue who lost two members during the recording of the 2nd album. Fredrik von Gerber asked his old Easy Action bandmate Kee Marcello to help out with guitar and production, and Marcello ended up joining the band now renamed as Red Fun. Red Fun opened for among others Guns n’Roses and Pearl Jam before Marcello left and the band split up.

Good stuff. Personally I am a EUROPE ’88 & ’91 fan but I also like the electric “bluesy” guitar too, so this record will fit me perfect. And the voice – is AWESOME, I was expecting to hear some accent but this singer is fantastic. Rhythm section? perfect from simple linear AOR-ish to rumblin’ bluesy-r’n’r one. And the production is brilliant great job Freddy!. This is the drummer! Is harder to stay at the simple beats that fit the songs. This is indeed a Super Group. Don’t miss this BLUESY POLISHED HARD ROCKIN’ MASTERPIECE!!!

I, personally, thought this cd was pretty good. Baby is coming Back and Doc Love are two excellent rockers. More rocky then bluesy. Could have been Love is a very nice mid passed ballad. Rock this Town is a cracker of a rock song. Midnight Stranger is an excellent uptempo rock song with an aorish chorus. I really dig My Baby. Nice vibe to the song. Bad Reputation another nice rocker. Dont close your Eyes a cool mid passed song with some great guitar playing. Party i don’t need explain i think Excellent uptempo good feel song. The album ends of in blistering from with for me the best party rock song:Red Hot ‘n Ready. So trust me if you want a good positive rock party CD this is your pick. Awesome vocals btw ! 88/100

super guitarist. Good stuff. The voice – is AWESOME, I was expecting to hear some accent but this singer is fantastic. Rhythm section? perfect from simple linear AOR-ish to rumblin’ bluesy-r’n’r one. And the production is brilliant great job Freddy!. This is the drummer! Is harder to stay at the simple beats than to jump to likes of Mike Portonoy’s crap. This is indeed a Super Group. And if you like DLR ’90& ’94 records. Don’t miss this BLUESY POLISHED HARD ROCKIN’ MASTERPIECE!!!

the song ‘midnite stranger’ is just plain awesome. This is a great album. very talented guys on this disc

Pretty good….not exactly a 10/10 though. I like a lot of bluesy rock.

Poor ? Hmmm guess i am listening to a different cd then Baby is coming Back and Doc Love are two excellent rockers. More rocky then bluesy. Could have been Love is a very nice mid paced ballad. Rock this Town is a cracker of a rock song .Midnight Stranger is an excellent uptempo rock song with an aorish chorus. I really dig My Baby. Nice vibe to the song. Bad Reputation another nice rocker. Dont close your Eyes a cool mid paced song with some great guitar playing.

very good release for RED FUN back in 93 that i had the pleasure of buying when it was out and enjoy it much, mostly because of “don’t close your eyes” which is a sensational mid tempo! Overall a fine party vibe, excellent musicianship and vocal performance and many good songs like “could have been love” and “midnight stranger”! recommended.
