classic British boozey rock ‘n’ roll, a perfect band for anyone into the Dogs D’amour or Quireboy’s styles. One of the best British bands of the era. Ripley’s vocals are fantastic (he came along way in 2 years – halfway between Ron Young of Little Caesar and Spike on this one) and EVERY song is killer. An outstanding release, shame they never did anything else after this. 9.5/10

Rough and raw debut EP, this is still classic British boozey rock ‘n’ roll, a perfect band for anyone into the Dogs D’amour or Quireboy’s styles. One of the best British bands of the era. Incredible. Yes, its a bit less raw than the debut, but that’s no bad thing. Ripley’s vocals are fantastic (he came along way in 2 years – halfway between Ron Young and Spike on this one) and EVERY song is killer especially the unreleased and exclusive to this release “When the lights go Down” and “Wrong side of town”

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for any rock fan,
I’m assuming not many will read this but for those of you who like straight forward rock this has to be added to your collection, possibly the most underrated band ever, each one of the tracks on this has an AC/DC-ish way of being very catchy, every song is different and every instrument played really well, vocals sound excellent and the rhythm section is also superb, I bought this based on one song, the title track but all song are awesome in its own way. I do urge you to get this as you won’t be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brings back memories of Raw Power and The Power Hour,
Does anybody remember Raw Power aka The Power Hour? It was an 80s metal show that was on about 4am on a Saturday morning. The Red Dogs used to feature on that but I had never heard of them since.

After spending two years trying to source their work, I eventually found them, worth the wait: oh yes!!!

Classic rock, AC DC combined with a bit of Poison and a hint of Warrant thrown in for good measure.

An absolute gem, shame that these guys were not more popular. Not easy to find, but should have a place in any rock fans collection.

The above video was filmed at the Tivoli in Buckley
