Greek traditional Doom Metal with flourishes of old school heavy metal mixed into the brew. Sounding somewhat like mid-period Candlemass they create quite a special brand of traditional doom. After all Greece is a country with a great tradition in DOOM. Listen closely and you begin to feel a bit claustrophobic, as the figurative walls of riffing begin to close in on you. “Mystic Skies†has an Eastern-ish guitar riff echoed in the vocals. songs such as ‘Mystic Skies’ and ‘D.E.S.T.R.O’ are actually well written, managing to hold your attention and actually become memorable. Most songs still have a Candlemass like feel to them, albeit with a greater usage of eastern melodies giving a later-Therion like twist to songs such as ‘Chemical Saviour’, which also has an enjoyable Iron Maiden-like introduction to it, with good roaming Harris-esque basswork.
