Description
Special Edition Enhanced CD, produced by Michael Fisher, features their MTV winning song Hello, 7 bonus tracks, including 3 early songs

Rail, the Northwests 80s cock-rock, heavy ballad offering, arena smash hit hair band (best known for the front mans white fur boots), has re-released their classic 1980 debut. For the first time on CD, Arrival also includes bonus CD features, including music videos and interviews. As the band says on the album opener, “Hello”, “Hello all you people, hope you’re feeling good. We’re gonna give you a show, like you know we would.” And a show is what the band gives you. From the MTV hit of “Hello” through fifteen more hard rocking delights, Rail brings back the classic rock of the 80s with lots of guitar-driven, wailing rock numbers that put todays’ rock to shame. Guitar solos, excellent musicianship and a lot of fun. Rail are serious about having a good time and you will have a lot of fun too.
Rail was another one of those better-than-average 80s bands that somehow fell through the cracks. They played the kind of melodic hard rock that was so popular at the time, and seemed to make all the right moves (recording with Heart vocalist Ann Wilson, touring with Van Halen), but never achieved the success they deserved.
Fortunately the Dynasty record label reissued their early albums on CD

Rail was another one of those better-than-average 80’s bands that somehow fell through the cracks. They played the kind of melodic hard rock that was so popular at the time, and seemed to make all the right moves (recording with Heart vocalist Ann Wilson, touring with Van Halen), but never achieved the success they deserved.
Fortunately the Dynasty record label reissued their early albums on CD for the first time in 2001. The Arrival Special Edition reissue contains the complete Arrival album plus plenty of bonus material – live tracks, early Rail & Company recordings, demos, etc. All songs have been digitally remastered, and sound terrific.
Rail is a band worth discovering. If you’re a fan of 80’s rock, particularly bands like Night Ranger, Aldo Nova, White Sister, and Autograph, chances are you’ll find Rail to be right up your alley.

5.0 out of 5 stars An 80’s Marsterpiece…
…is “Rail & Co…” or as most know them,”Rail”. The band had 3 other releases (the second and 3rd can now be found as “Adio”) and all of them are great discs! This one however is the best! Every track on this disc is amazing and Terry James Young was and still is a bad ass singer! This is “Hard Rock” at it’s best for sure!!! Fans of music from the laste 70’s, Van Halen, Kiss, Heart…will love this disc!

5.0 out of 5 stars 80’s Nostalgia
I saw Rail several times in Idaho Falls during the 1980s. This is a good ticket back in time.

Great early American metal before glam took over

Love love love it.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is good …
I bought this when it first came out after they had won the MTV award. Many groups just like them have followed but this was a very good album.Â

I love this CD. The guitar work is phenomenal and the drummer kicks ass. The vocalist has a range that is superb. The Best Melodic Hard Rock Band… Bar None!

What a story this is the bands first album. Years later, they competed in MTV’s first garage band competition and won their second album contract. This album, arrival is 10x better. Good vocal, interesting songs.
Obviously superb cd album.

I think this is a pretty cool album and it still gets lots of plays I was made up when it came out on CD. Gangbusters and Sirens are favourites. The band certainly have their chops together and it makes you wonder if they had the backing of a decent sized label whether their impact would have been greater. They have a unique sound and strong songs, that is what I like about them. Worth grabbing definitely.

I still listen to RAIL a lot, and catch them live every chance I get. Love all their music!!
first of all good vocals  and great songs: “Cheater”(AORish),”Make Me”, “Sirens”(reminds me of the band Angel) & “Seasons Of Change”…the CD brings lots of B/T that makes the release an even more attractive one..
