Pilotos: Thank God for the Devil
Self-released CD

Pilatos is a rock band from Stockholm who have been together since 1999. They have several releases in the back catalogue already, and they have gigged quite a lot in Sweden and Europe. Thank God for the Devil is under 23 minutes long CD, that has eight short tracks. This is just sort of basic rock played with raw energy. After the short intro comes a rocking number called Blond Guy where the singer sounds a bit like Danzig. The rather raw, punky Malo follows next. Urban Blues is in fact a little bluesy track, Shes One of a Kind is again raw rock in bit punky spirit. Get Out of His Way is a slower, pretty OK number. The aggressive Not Alone brings to mind Motörhead a bit. Possibly the best cut here. De Devil ends the CD with a rather heavy grip. These guys sure have energy, but their music just doesn’t interest me that much.

Pilotos is a four-piece rock band from Stockholm. They are closing in on the ten year mark of activity which is when all the cool bands break and become famous. Besides touring all over Sweden the band has also performed in many cities of Europe. Antwerpen, Strasbourg,Vienna and Eindhoven are some of the stages where Pilotos have set foot. Pilotos music is about love, happiness, life and blood. Have a laugh and get a little crazy now.
