Morbid album… Extra solid very grinding brutal Death Metal. Tons of speed, moderate technicality and some forceful dual guitar interaction to boot. The solos rip, they’re completely fluid and melodic, adding a nice change of pace from the bludgeoning rhythms heard elsewhere. Vocally things are vicious low growls that are way more intense and powerful than those of your average death metal band. The songwriting is definitely pretty good, there are enough changes to keep things interesting, and a lot of the transitions are really powerful as well. The production is quite nice. The guitars are heavy as hell but still perfectly clear, the vocals are superbly mixed, and the drums are really thick, but still rigid enough to maintain that modern sound. This is definitely better than most of the death metal that’s running around out there .
