Mother of Pearl have been active for the last couple of years, gigging intensely in the UK and Ireland. In the year 2002 Mother of Pearl were nominated one of the best 5 newcomers of the year by HotPress/Bacardi and played an amazing showcase at Vicar Street (Dublin), where they were acclaimed by Noel Redding (former bassist in the Jimi Hendrix  Experience) as “”one of the hottest new bands on the market. The track Borders was also nominated among the best 8 tracks of the year by Hotpress/Bacardi and received airplay nationwide. In the summer of 2002 Mother of Pearl recorded their second self-produced release “”Volume”” for the American Industry.”
