MAGNUM’s seventh in a row is double and recorded live in December 1979, at London’s now historic Marquee. It contains four tracks that were not included on the album “Marauder” (Jet, 1980), which also contains recordings from the same live. First we hear “All Of My Life”, in which they sound a bit like STYX, but their personal lyrical and pompous style – which is so beautifully when rendered on stage – sets them apart from their American comrades. “Great Adventure” follows. Typical piece of early symphonic rock, quite epic and adventurous (in the progressive sense of the term). Then, we get a strong dose of their mythical world. The track “Invasion” is one of MAGNUM’s best-known and most complex compositions. It has a strong epic personality and awesome guitars. The epic feel, of course, is also present on the last song and it is none other than “Kingdom Of Madness”. It contains all the best elements of the aforementioned tracks and a hefty dose of power! An indispensable piece, a supply for entering the kingdom of madness! We strongly recommend this 7″ especially to those who have the “Marauder”, since it complements those recordings. A MUST HAVE.
