5.0 out of 5 stars At Long Last, A Live Album!!!,
Thanks Ty, Doug and Jerry for the live album!! I’ve seen these guys numerous times and they always put on a super show. The great thing about Kings X is that their music is intelligent, soulful, musically awesome and above all, REAL. Compared to all of the sugar coated crap that the media, music companies and the money makers shove down the listeners throats; Kings X delivers the real deal. Dougs not afraid to sing about being alone, confused, angry or happy. The thing is he sings and presents the music with such passion and STRENGTH that the emotionally depressed or confused listener can’t but help to feel better and stronger in time. I’ve learned sooo much from these guys concerning self esteem, spirituality, the art of making music and friends, and above all just having a super positive outlook on life!!! If you’ve heard of Kings X and maybe listened to “Gretchen..”, buy this album!! If you’re a die hard fan of this phunky grungalistic trio from the badlands of Texas, you WON’T be dissapointed. When I watch TV (which is rarely) I say to myself, “why are these people celebrities?” Kings X should be known on a greater scale and the great thing is that they are one of those bands that just keep on going, rockin’ out and spreading the love regardless of fame, money, sex and all the other crap that America is soo focused on!! True musicians all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars finally…,
Finally, Kings X gets a live album out! i know they’ve changed labels a time or two, so fans anticipation isn’t really their fault. i will however, blame them for releasing one of the best representations of live music ever!

If you’re a fan of Kings X whatsoever, put off all your other album needs and buy this first. this may be one of the top 5 greatest live albums in this reviewers opinion. this album sounds great, flows well, and the setlist is promised to deliver to a fan of any era of the bands music. if you’ve seen the band live, get out your shows ticket, turn up this cd, close your eyes, and see them again!

Of course, being the fan i am, i can only say that i wish this album was another disc long. however, this double-disc release delivers, i can’t say enough great things about it.

Whether you’re a fan of their music already, or just taking interest, This CD Is For You! i highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous CD!,
I had heard several Kingss X albums 10 years ago and I really loved them.

I bought this CD and the music inspired me so much, that I went and bought 4 of the albums show-cased on it.

They are a great band; and yes some of the live stuff’ is not as good as the original albums, but, live (in my opinion) is often better.

I recommend this album for your collection. If you think some of the mixing could be done better, then I’d whole-heartedly suggest that you go and by all the originals!

You won’t be disappointed.

5 Stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kings X- “Live All Over The Place”,
In this day of sterile soulless music ,here is a document of live music played straight from the heart. With songs spanning their ten albums Kings X rip into this set with passion and soul. This is one of the few live discs that features no studio correction of flaws which only adds to the pure and intimate feeling of experiencing this great and special band in concert. Some good surprises are included such as old favorites from the first few albums as well as a few awesome extended jams that show the almost telepathic interplay that a band only develops after playing together for so long. This is a must for true fans and for any rock music lover who wants to get excited about music again.

5.0 out of 5 stars What You’re Missing,
On first listen, years ago, I thought Kings-X might be at best an acquired taste. It was half right. They’re now my hands down favorite band. They Rock! They’re intelligent songwriters. They’re technical, talented musicians. And they connect so well with the audience at their live shows. I have seen lots of people converted after seeing them play. What are you waiting for — you’re missing out if you don’t give Kings-X a try. This CD is a great starting place.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kings Of The Stage,
Kings X creates out-of-this-world music in the recording studio, but live… well, experiencing Kings X live is nothing short of being transported to another universe. This aptly named double album showcases the band at their fiery best, with 25 tracks recorded in various locations over a 15+ year period. While there was no intent to pass this off as a single concert, the bands always-on playing (coupled with an excellent mastering job, keeping the sonic levels from fluctuating in any noticeable fashion) prevents any distractions from the mish-mash of source material. Disc one is a nice overview of the bands career, with songs from `Gretchen Goes To Nebraska’ all the way through to `Manic Moonlight’, plus a couple of tracks featured on `Black Like Sunday’ – an album comprised of re-recordings of early-1980s original material from when the band was called Sneak Preview – and a killer romp through `Manic Depression’ with Jeff Ament joining the fray on bass. Disc two features a slew of acoustic performances – including songs such as `Mr. Evil’ and `The Difference’ and `(Thinking And Wondering) What I’m Gonna Do’, which are rarely performed, making their appearance here a rare treat. The acoustic numbers make up a little over half of disc two; the remainder is fully electric and features extended jams of concert favorites like `We Were Born To Be Loved’, `Visions’, `Cigarettes’, and `Moanjam’. The next best thing to seeing Kings X in their natural environment – onstage – is hearing them, and this collection makes it easier than ever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very cool huge live rock album from the legends!
After many years of waiting, finally KINGs X released a double live album for the fans. It was apparently put together from concerts all over the world on tour over many years, and it does have a good varied selection of older classics along newer songs. It sounds amazing-alright it does not seem to have been tweeked to perfection in the studio- but thats probably for a better experience of them live. Very good double live album from a great influential heavy rock band.
