The next day Journey’s Frontiers was the band’s most successful tour with the same line up for show ever. It was also the last tour with bassist Ross Valory until 1998, and drummer Steve Smith, they would later return in 1996 for Journey’s comeback album ” Trial By Fire “. The band would not tour again until 1986 with their new studio album “ Raised On Radio “.
Aerosmith was on tour promoting their new album “ Rock In A Hard Place ” featuring Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay on guitars, after Joe Perry & Brad Whitford left the band. This Aerosmith tour lasted from 1982 – 1984.
Sammy Hagar was on tour promoting his new album release ” Three Lock Box “.
Bryan Adams was on tour promoting his new album ” Cuts Like A Knife “.
